Calling It Quits

I think I give up on my missing person. It doesn`t seem like the universe is keen on my locating anyone right now. Random things keep crashing down right before my eyes, and I believe that`s how my missing person chase will end. Well, it turns out Samantha`s boyfriend Michael was Ruby`s boyfriend Michael... and he was their boyfriend at the same time. I don`t really know how to deal with this... because Michael has poisoned Sam`s mind. He old Sam he met Ruby at summer band camp. Got with her as a joke. It was a joke right from the begininng. If that`s true then... explain to me why Michael chased Ruby around just 2 months ago. How he pulled her away from us at lunch to go to the courtyard. How he made us leave them alone at times. He's told Sam that Ruby called him then because she's a stalker... and at school she follows him around. I for one know Ruby. Michael says he broke up with her about 8 months ago... He did brake up with her though. But that wasn`t the end of them. Ruby wasn`t ever too smitten on Michael. But sometime in March, that changed. He liked her again and she liked him a lot... and then it all started. And just a couple days ago, Michael threw himself at Ruby, wanted another chance... He's cheated on Sam, and cheated on Ruby as well! It's horrible to think about, how a guy... a seemingly nice, wholesome guy can do things like that. Well.. it isn`t too suprising to me. He was charming the whole night, too charming. Ruby's hurt, and this is really wrong, so something must be done. I don`t think she'd tell me things that weren`t true, and in that case, this guy must be destroyed. Two awesome people I know, two best friends, wth the only link between them me, and this scum bag. What are the odds? Two hearts broken over this low life. I`m so angry. After all this downing on Ruby, I told them "Oh... Ruby's one of my good friends." It suddenly became uneasy after that, but it's to be expected. Then, this guy started up on Dorothy. (Hector's gonna love this.) Another of my friends! "Blah blah blah... Dorthy's obsessed with me... shes so concieted..." Oh man. Everything kept sinking further and further. I wasn`t about to tell them she was another good friend. I just said I knew her. She was nice, she had a boyfriend. I doubt she is obsessing over you. Nothing to worry about, Sam. Throughout all this, Michael never connected me with Ruby until I told him. Maybe he did but he acted like he didn`t... and maybe he knows what`s coming. Besides his being a sleaze bag he sure does talk a lot of mess. Oh... what to do! I`m not sure Sam will believe me. >_<
