Stuff For Pet Fruit

Consumerism in America has grown considerably in only a few short decades. Television, gossip and materialism now go hand in hand, at times masking out important issues in today's society such as war, politics and global concerns.

On average, an American child sees an estimated 500 hundred commercials on television per day. Using what advertizers call "the nag factor" the amount of money children 12 and under have spent influencing family purchases has grown from 5 billion to 500 billion dollars since the 1960's.
