Hoy te quiero mas que siempre...

Dear someone listening in the shadows...
I only talk to you sometimes
And though I ask for help in riddles
It is clearer in my mind, clearer in my mind.

I am in the library. Did all written work for the week. I have a two-book report by next Friday that I could crank out tomorrow if I wanted to read two books and then write a ten page essay. I don't. But I could. I have three chapters to read for screenwriting by Thursday, my acts to develop for Tuesday, and some David Hume to read. The girl who was supposed to make copies didn't so I have to fend for myself. I also have 200 more pages of Vita to read by Friday. Easy stuff. I read 200 pages of that last night so I'm not worried. Tonight I have dinner with Abbie at Das Poob; until then I'm killing time at the library. I cranked out a bibli and an essay in no time, went to get my pay check, went to conference and picked up toilet paper and light bulbs. I'm hardcore, I know. I'm waiting until 7:30 so that i might mill around the library in pursuit of my book-report books. I have 7 choices, none of which I am ecstatic about because they're long. But I picked authors I know I like reading so there's that. Socially is getting better for me. I have Abbie, Larissa, Cheryl, sometimes Sarah S and her gang and a strange formed friendship with Marty. Other than that, everyone here stinks. The end.

Oh lover let me sleep, on your couch...

Three hours 'till work is over. I'm so tired. And broken-ish.I was five minutes late today but the bosses were ten. That's what I call team effort. Its freaking hot in here. I just drank... some tea. I dunno what kind. Green Zen Tazo, or something. Now my mouth is all... grindy. Grindy? I kinda want the phone to ring. I'm bored. Keisha, my boss, is so nice. One of her orchids died today. Yes, in fifteen degree weather, imagine. But they've been lovely for the past two weeks until today. We walked in to find that the plant had one little old, shriveled bulb. Are they called bulbs? Oh... and we got Regina ticketsssss! ...Not Keisha and I, but Carly, Aela, Judith and I. Hells yes. I have to read a book on Aids today. If they have it in the storrreee... I have to stop doing that.

In other news, bleh! I forgot... what this bleh was in regaurds to. Oh! I don't get paid until the end of the month. And then I have to fork up ALL my money toward a plane ticket. How loser-y. My roommate keeps complaining about not having a debit card, which she LEFT in Washington, D.C, but her dad keeps sending her money orders anyway. Try having a debit card with no money on it. And having parents who can't send you money. And being responsible about your shit. Yeah. That's right. Don't even talk to me.

Then in my dream crispy, crispy Benjamin Franklin and the Doctor went and had a talk with my boss...

I work in an office. Answer phones, make copies, send mail, bear stamps... you know, the usual. And I do homework. Thank Jesus. Life is good. I work Mondays 9-1 and Fridays 1-5. I'm trying to make ends meet. So my friend Aela told me Regina is coming to Purchase College. That's like 20 mins from here. We're all up on that. This semester I feel so scandelous and adult-like. Except I don't know how to make color copies or where the stamps and envelopes are. My boss just told me to mail this letter and the lady I usually ask about stuff I don't know just stepped out for "a second" and hasn't come back for 45 minutes.

Okay, she's here. (Mspaces indicate a pause in time, elapsed time, whatever you wanna call it.)I mailed the letter; incidentally, you just take it to the post office. Duh.

I can't stop thinking of Regina Spektor. I'm so excited. I wanna buy the tickets... NOW!

I think I'm drunk enough to drive you home now...

Not really. I'm in my room. My dorm room. I rearranged it to make it equal. I rule. I have to do laundry, though. I really have nothing to write; just miss blogging. Things sure have changed around here. i had to get a Google account?? Dunno. So I was reading my Anthro about Folk Saints and there's this one... Dufunta Correa. She died in the desert with her little baby and the baby survived for weeks by breast feeding from her--while she was dead. I don't really get it, because she died of heat exhaustion, and aren't babies more susceptible to that? I'm listening to Brighteyes on someone else's shared itunes. It came on random. I used to like this song. I guess I still do, sort of. It's called, "Lover I Don't Have to Love." Mostly because it's about... "unrequited love" relationships?

I want lover I don't have to love
I want a boy who's so drunk he doesn't talk

I want a lover I don't have to love
I want a girl who's too sad to give a fuck

Sad stuff, I know. What can i say? I was a broken 16-year old on the verge of emo-indie-glam rock. I honestly don't know. I discovered I really like Tool today. I was rocking out. Like, really.

My room is clean-ish. Nice. I usually have a clean room at home, but this one's small. No storage space. None. Um.. more later.
