I was wandering around New York city yesterday, around the upper west side, and saw a guy with a large pdf-looking device.
It turns out, it was none other than a Kindle! The new wireless reading device that Amazon came out with a few months ago. Not only is it as tall as a pencil, weighs less than your mother, and holds 500 million books, it has a state of the art'revolutionary electronic paper-look'!
You lose that archaic smell of hundreds of readers before you or the fresh to print feel.
You can't read in the rain. You can't stick your nose in it. You can;t write in it. You can't flip it. I like page flipping. You can't dog-ear it. You can't use flags or post its. You can't give it to your best friend to borrow.
I don't know if this is a good idea at all. Farenheit 451, anyone?
